It’s that time of year again, when fans of Joss Whedon’s Serenity gather in darkened theaters across the country to raise money for Joss’ favorite charity, Equality Now!
Can’t Stop the Serenity, now in its 3rd year, is hosting 55 screenings of the fan favorite film from coast to coast. Many of the screenings feature drawings for Serenity collectibles and lots more surprises. If you’re a hardcore fan of the Serenity ‘verse (aka a Browncoat) or just wondering what all the fanatical fuss is about, go to the event website and get a ticket before they sell out. I’ve gone to each of the LA events the last 2 years and it’s always a good time. There is nothing like seeing it on the big screen. Screenings take place from June 19th through the middle of July. Check out the site to find a screening near you!
