So, of course every geek worth his salt is going to see the latest Pixar offering, WALL-E, when it hits theaters this coming Friday. But what about the traditional animated short film that accompanies WALL-E? Haven’t heard anything about it yet? Well, word on the street is that it’s the best one Pixar’s offered yet.
It’s called Presto, and it’s about a magician of the same name, who forgets to feed his rabbit Alec one too many times. The short film, according to Disney, “follows the escalating hijinx on stage when a star magician’s ego provokes some clever revenge from his neglected costar.” It’s directed by Doug Sweetland, an animator who’s worked on nearly every full-length Pixar film since its beginnings.
