Arrested Development Movie to Shoot in 2009

In case you haven’t heard, possibly the greatest television comedy of the 21st century is coming to a theater near you in 2009. Yes, I realize that Jason Bateman has been saying this since last year, pretty much anytime he’s in front of cameras touting a new project (this time while promoting the movie Hancock at a press event in the UK), but now that we’re past the writers’ strike, things seem a little bit more likely. And I guess as long as the press keeps asking the same question, Jason will do his best to keep our hopes alive. Movie stars can say whatever they want. It’s the studios with the moolah who make the decisions. But I put my trust in Jason. He’ll make it happen (he HAS to!).
