It’s easy to be geeky about something in LA, that much is obvious. There is always something happening relating to your favorite tv show, movie, comic book or whatever. The great thing is that most studios/creators love to show off their stuff. I’ve seen more than my share of advanced/test movie screenings and there are times that the movies actually don’t suck. And I’m a sucker for shooting locations. All of my drive-bys are done with a camera, not a .45. Click on any of the pictures below and you’ll see what I mean. On our PopCultureGeek Flickr site , there’s a fair mix of pics from everything from Hollywood premieres to private gatherings to special tours to props and costumes and more. As I uploaded these, I couldn’t believe all the geeky things I’ve done and seen in the last few years, and all with in a 10 minute drive from my apartment (or 3+ hours with traffic).

By the way, get ready for lots more pictures to show up on Flickr when we cover the San Diego Comic-Con 2008 in a few weeks. Until then, check out all of our pictures from the previous years…
