Capeshooters Coming To The Big Screen

Capeshooters, an upcoming graphic novel from Rob Liefeld, already has a movie version in the works from Warner Brothers. Both the film and book tell the story of two slackers/superhero paparazzi forced to go on the run when they discover one legendary hero is actually evil.

Superman Returns director Bryan Singer is currently in negotiations to produce the film. The script will be written by J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani, both of which work with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show and American Idol.

While the concept sounds promising, I’m not too sure about their choice of writers. Couldn’t they find a team with a more impressive resume?
