DC Wildstorm To Release Mirror’s Edge Comic

<img class=”alignright size-full wp-image-282″ title=”mirrorsedge” src=”http://popculturegeek.com/wp-content/uploads/mirrorsedge.jpg alt=”" width=”200″ height=”150″ /> DC WildStorm will release a six-issue comic series based upon Electronic Arts’ upcoming game Mirror’s Edge. The series revolves around Faith, one of the game’s principal characters, and her life as a “free-running” courier.
The story is written by Rhianna Pratchett (Heavenly Sword, Overlord) with art from Matthew Dow Smith (Supernatural: Origins). Issue #1 will debut this week at the San Diego Comic-Con
The creative team behind the series is likewise a crossover of the gaming and comic-book worlds. Game writer Rhianna Pratchett (Heavenly Sword, Overlord) will be handling the story of the comic, whereas artist Matthew Dow Smith (Supernatural: Origins and various StormWatch issues) will provide the visuals.
