In an interview with ShockTillYouDrop.com, I Am Legend director Francis Lawrence spoke of a possible prequel to the film. “Yes, yes, absolutely, we’re actually trying to crack that,” he said when asked about the possibility of another Legend film, “We’re trying to figure out some ideas for it, but yes, it would be a prequel.”
He also went on to mention that Will Smith would “definitely be into doing more with the character”.
