Tyrese Gibson spoke with SuperHeroHype.com while at Comic-Con regarding his involvement with a big screen version of Thundercats, the classic 80s cartoon. According to SuperHeroHype’s post, Gibson has been “very involved” with getting the ball rolling on the project. When they inquired of what role he’d fill in the cast, he simply said that “a number of options” were on the table.
The project was originally intended to be a CG-animated film directed by Jerry O’Flaherty, however, that status was tentative and could have easily changed. Lets keep our fingers crossed for live-action … this has potential to be quite awesome.
