Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince teaser trailer

It’s scheduled to appear in front of the Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emporer this weekend, but you can see it here and now online if you can’t hold your need for new Harry Potter goodness until Friday (or you can’t bring yourself to see another Mummy movie). This trailer prominently features only Harry and Dumbledore and the first appearance of the actor who plays the young Tom Riddle, the future Voldemort. It’s short and sweet, but of any of the Harry Potter trailers I’ve seen, none have given off more of a horror vibe than this one. You get the idea from this trailer, as in the book, that Dumbledore is having a meeting with Damien the Son of Satan himself… only y’know… more evil.

The young Tom Riddle is played by Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, the 11 year old nephew of Ralph Fiennes, the actor who plays the grown up dark wizard Voldemort the boy will one day become.

    Awesome stuff. I always look forward to the Harry Potter movies, even though I’ve yet to read any of the books.

    I seriously get shivers in the scene where Dumbledore sets the dresser on fire.
