Blizzard’s World of Warcraft has been fully localized for Russian speaking geeks and will be released on August 6. Burning Crusade, the popular expansion pack, has been translated and will also be available for purchase on that date. This joins the preexisting English, French, German, and Spanish editions as the fifth European-language version of the title.
“The launch of the Russian-language version reflects our continuing commitment to make World of Warcraft even more accessible for gamers throughout the world,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment(R). “We also hope that providing a fully localized version of the game will further enhance the gameplay experience for our enthusiastic Russian community.”
It’s nice that something so universal can unite us all together. Viva la Warcraft.

I have fallen for this game, and my comrades will now lose their jobs, wives (unless they play as well) and lives.
