Flick Face-Off: Swing Vote vs Mummy 3

This one is pretty easy, so I’m not going to take a long time spitting it out. The Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emporer will be an easy win over Swing Vote. DUH. But will either of them finally kick the Dark Knight from its perch at number one? Mummy could do it, as it’s a very family-friendly film, making it an easy sell, but does everyone want to see another Mummy movie? I say that if Mummy does topple the Dark Knight, it will be a close call. I predict the Mummy will come in at $30 million and Swing Vote at around $8 million.

As for last week, X-Files didn’t do nearly as well as I’d hoped, pulling half of what I guessed (only $10 million). But I was dead on when it came to Step Brothers ($30 million). I feel so smart and pretty.

    just saw the mummy a few hours ago and it was pretty solid. nothing new, of course, but highly enjoyable. i like a good bite of cheese now and again.
