The Dharma Group’s Hans Van Eeghen has issued a press release regarding the much bandied about security breach at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Didn’t hear of it? If that’s the case, see Robin’s entry for a full description of what happened. The company seems most nervous about the Marvin Candle video that was shown during the Lost panel making its way to the internet.
The Dharma Initiative must stress that the video material leaked at Comic-Con 2008 was viewed entirely out of context. Furthermore, the way in which the material was presented utterly distorted its significance and credibility as scientific data.
The press release also mentions that the DharmaWantsYou.com is undergoing an update to ensure no further leaks happen. After the relaunch, the “Volunteer Assessments” will get underway. Those wishing to sign up may do so at the aforementioned site.
The video below is the one that has the Dharma folks all in a tizzy.
