Veronica Mars Movie Looking More Likely

We at PopCultureGeek.com have a fond place in our heart for Veronica Mars. As with most television series of quality, it was canceled after only a short time on the air. Since its cancellation by the CW there have been rumblings of the story of Miss Mars continuing either in comic form or as a feature length movie. Those rumblings have been quite as of late … until now.

Series creator Rob Thomas recently told Entertainment Weekly that he has met with Veronica herself, Kristen Bell, and producer Joel Silver to discuss the possibility of doing a film. Thomas currently has two series he’s developing but says once they’ve launched the film will be his “top priority”.

Good news, indeed! It would be nice to have some closure to the series in some form or another.
