Several applications allowing you to keep up with your Xbox Live friends have been made available on the App Store for Apple’s iPhone for a small fee. This didn’t set well with Microsoft, though, and they’ve now prevented the selling of any Xbox 360-related application on the service. The company has generously allowed the app-makers to continue to offer their creations free-of-charge, so, the general public may still reap the benefits.
No word on whether or not refunds are being offered to anyone that previously purchased the program.
