New England Comics pays tribute to the genius of Ben Edlund with the release of The Tick: The Complete Edlund. This book collects issues 1-12 of The Tick, which Edlund created, along with a bonus “Psuedo-Tick” issue. Extras include the first story featuring The Tick that Edlund creatred for the NEC Newsletter, rare backup stories, pin-ups, and commentary from the man himself
The package will set you back $35.00 but is well worth it for die-hard fans of the big blue guy. You may now preorder from NEC’s website. Sadly, though, no release date is mentioned.
