David Lindsay-abaire, the Pulitzer Prize winning playwright responsible for Rabbit Hole, has been hired to write the script for Spider-Man 4. This isn’t the first literary hoity-toity literary type to be attached to a Spider-Man film. The second installment of the series was co-authored by Michael Chabon, who one the coveted prize 2001.
Sam Raimi’s back, Toby Maguire’s back, and a respectable writer has been hired. Perhaps this sequel will make up for the travesty that was Spider-Man 3.
