WonderCon 2009 Video Highlights from the Star Trek Panel

For me, this was the panel I wanted to see more than any other. It’s pretty much the reason why I wanted to come to WonderCon 2009. I did expect a little more (the whole cast maybe? how about some big Star Trek-y special event since the Federation was/will be founded in San Francisco?), but I wasn’t disappointed. JJ Abrams was hilariously enthusiastic, pacing the stage and imploring the crowd to not secretly record the world premiere of the latest Star Trek trailer (and oh yeah, it was amazing). The actors that did show up (Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and Zoe Saldana) capably answered an assortment of bad questions and gave us some insight into what it was like to step into the shoes of sci-fi legends.
