First Look at Mickey Rourke as Whiplash in Iron Man 2

USA Today has the first look at Mickey Rourke in costume as Whiplash in the now-filming Iron Man 2 movie, starring Robert Downey Jr and directed by John Favreau. It looks a little bit like Whiplash is sporting a chest plate similar to Iron Man‘s. Favreau admits that they’re related and that it’s “part of the core theme of the film”. Although I’m not sure about Whiplash as a main villain, I do love that Rourke is involved as the baddie. Here’s hoping we get a big sneak peek in a few weeks ago the San Diego Comic-Con. Since the preview of the first Iron Man film 2 years ago was the biggest thing at Comic-Con 2007, you can bet I’ll be among the first in line for that presentation…
