Getting Ready for Comic-Con 2009 – Follow Our Every Step on Twitter!

cci09getready We’re just hours away from the yearly geeky mecca, San Diego Comic-Con 2009! We’ve been quiet on posting the last few weeks preparing for this big event. I’m sure you heard the news on a few other sites… Michael Jackson apparently died, Ryan Reynolds is Green Lantern, Walter Cronkite died, Natalie Portman is Jane Foster in the Thor movie, Farah Fawcett died, and I recently discovered It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia about 3 years later than everyone else with good taste (I’m almost caught up). Also, I’m pretty sure other people died, but it’s getting too depressing to mention the rest.

Well, there’s just some packing to do, a night of sleep (my last for awhile), a super early visit to the comic shop, a trip to the airport tomorrow morning to pick up a friend, and we’re off to San Diego. I got a sexy new Sony camera with 720p HD video and it apparently captures billions of colors. See my sexy E3 2009 pictures for proof. Assuming I’m not partying too hard/getting kicked out of parties, expect to see tons of Comic-Con pictures nightly. Seth Rogan is showing up to unveil the Green Hornet vehicle Wednesday night on the Comic-Con floor and I’m hoping to capture some of that on video. We shall see…

If you want to keep in the know about what’s happening all over the convention center, you can either go right to our twitter site or you can swing by here to find a TweetBoard tab along the left side of the page. Just click it to see all of our posts. Feel free to comment and retweet to your heart’s content.

This week is gonna be chock full of geeky good times. Stick with us and get your geek on.

If you can’t be there with us, here’s an in the trenches video we shot last year to give you an idea of what it’s like to be a part of the nerdy masses (expect a number of posts mentioning that I’m in line for something)…
