Mystery Science Theater 3000 Vol XX When is it okay to talk loudly over a movie? Only 2 situations come to mind: (1) When you and your friends are alone in the theater and (2) when you’re trapped in outer space, being forced to watch some of the most unintentionally funny “classic” films ever made. Shout! Factory presents 4 never-before-released-to-DVD episodes of the Peabody award-winning series in the Mystery Science Theater 3000 Volume XX DVD box set. The set includes Project Moonbase, Master Ninja I, Master Ninja II, and The Magic Voyage of Sinbad. Also included in the set are 4 mini-posters (1 for each film by artist Steve Vance) made exclusively for this volume. Each DVD features bonus material, including an exploration of the look of MST3K with director of photography Jeff Stonehouse, a new introduction by Trace Beaulieu on Sinbad, an interview with Master Ninja guest star Bill McKinney, and footage from the Tom Servo vs Tom Servo panel at DragonCon 2010!

I grew to love MST3K back when they would re-run episodes in syndication on Saturday afternoons oh so long ago (okay, maybe a decade). This is an astounding collection of wonderfully bad movies that were made to be torn apart by Joel, Tom Servo, and Crow. This set (arriving March 8th in stores at a suggested retail price of $59.99) is a must-have for any MST3K fan. And how can you resist when Shout! Factory is selling it on their official site for only $39.99 with an exclusive FREE limited-edition moon-shaped stress ball for a limited time only! (click the ad above for more info!)
