New Release: Dirty Mary Crazy Larry/Race With the Devil 2 DVD Set

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been reliving my youth and getting a kick out of watching old drive-in movie “classics” from the 70s and 80s. No, they’re not packed with high-end special effects or anything close to Academy Award winning acting, but for a down and dirty good time, you can’t beat an old fashioned suped-up car chase movie with lots of explosions and even more angry cops and/or satanists. For those who don’t know what a proper car chase movie is, think Transformers with a lot less robots and slightly more plot. Or what Nicolas Cage was technically trying to do in this year’s Drive Angry 3D (an outright tribute to both of these films… I even think they used some of the same locations in Drive Angry as they did in Dirty Mary). On April 12th, you can pick up the classics Dirty Mary Crazy Larry and Race With the Devil all in one 2 DVD set from Shout! Factory!
