It’s not surprising that, considering all of the big pop culture events that popculturegeek.com covers, we tend to take a lot of pictures. And, of course, at those events there’s always hordes people dressed up in elaborate costumes. Our Flickr site is choked with them. You could go in and search through the thousands of pictures, but what fun is that? (not that I’m discouraging you)
A few weeks ago PopCultureGeek launched a sister site called Cosplay of the Day, which features a single picture of a costumed fan from any of the various conventions we’ve covered over the last decade (actually from before PopCultureGeek.com existed). If you’ve donned a hand-crafted costume at San Diego Comic-Con, WonderCon, Anime Expo, Star Wars Celebration, or any number of pop culture and comic conventions, there’s a good chance we snagged a picture of you. That means that YOU could be the next featured costumed fan on Cosplay of the Day!
Check it out. LIKE us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter or just have an email delivered to your inbox each morning.
And when you see a costume or a particularly fetching cosplayer that strikes your fancy or you happen to see yourself staring back at you from the site, be sure to “Facebook LIKE” the picture itself, COMMENT on it, and SHARE it with your friends on whatever social network(s) you use! You never know what you might see on Cosplay of the Day.
