Yeah, I’m spazzing right now. Not going to deny it. I don’t know how I’m going to keep from shaking throughout this entire thing. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you haven’t yet seen the 2nd trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (go ahead and watch it below, preferably in 1080p and filling up your entire screen). I haven’t been to a midnight screening in awhile, but you can bet I’ll be there with bells on. Most likely wee magical bells. However, while part of me wants to see it in IMAX, another big part of me doesn’t want to be distracted by the supposedly necessary 3D upgrade that each of the IMAX screens will have. *sigh*
But I’m not going to worry about that now. I want to see this NOW. I want to see this movie more than anything else this summer, even more than Thor, Captain America: the First Avenger, Cowboys and Aliens, Super 8, Green Lantern, or X-Men: First Class (and I’m a true blue comic book geek). But more than anything, I want to hear Molly say THAT LINE.
Harry Potter fans know exactly which line I’m talking about. I don’t know how I’m going to be able to keep from verbally expressing myself in some squawking gurgle of a cheer when that moment comes in the theater. I have a feeling I won’t be alone.
And I don’t want to hear about that shot with Harry pushing himself and Voldemort over the edge of the castle. No, it’s not in the book. But it is absolutely cool. That final battle is going to be a thousand times bigger than the book’s ever was and I stand behind that a million percent as long as those final moments of the face off reflect the core of what happened in the book.
Oh, and did you see that split second with Remus and Tonks? Accio Goosebumps.
Anyone else working on a Harry Potter movie marathon leading up to July 15th? If only they’d put them in theaters for 7 weeks leading up to the big day…

Ahhhh I’m totally spazzing too! But it says the video isn’t available so I gotta go Google it.
