See the First 3 Minutes of True Blood Season 4! [VIDEO]

Although the video’s a little choppy, I couldn’t resist sharing with you the first 3 minutes of True Blood season 4 via TheTrueBloodSource on YouTube. At the end of season 3, we discovered the origin of Sookie‘s abilities (If you aren’t caught up to the end of True Blood season 3, do NOT watch this video as major spoilers lie within), but with that knowledge comes a greater mystery. Sookie (Anna Paquin) has learned not to take everything at face value and is a wee bit suspicious of this new world she’s discovered.

Of course, we all know that True Blood excels at bringing the Mystery and deftly mixing it with the Funny, the Danger and, of course, the Sexy. A nice surprise for me was seeing one of my favorite actors, Gary Cole, make an appearance in this clip. And as any fan of tv or film knows, there are very few actors that can bring the Mystery/Funny/Danger/Sexy as well as Gary Cole (c’mon ladies, remember when he was the devil in American Gothic?). Unfortunately, Bill and Eric, everyone’s favorite non-sparkly sexy vampires, don’t show up in this clip, I’m sure we’ll get more than our fill of blood-spattered naked-ass sex and death this season as we work our way through the long summer…
