What with PopCultureGeek.com covering E3 this week, I’ve been too exhausted to stay awake for a midnight movie, no matter how much I’ve been dying to see this one. But never fear, Luis Calderon is here! He’s got your Super 8 midnight screening review right here, but beware – it’s got *SPOILERS*! At least that’s what HE says. I didn’t dare watch it past the title sequence, so I don’t really know if there are little spoilers or big spoilers.
So in order to prevent having the movie ruined for me, I’m heading out to see Super 8 as soon as I finish posting this. It’s the right thing to do. From what most of my friends who have seen it told me, it’s not just Super 8, it’s Superior 8!
But what did Luis have to say? Watch the video below to find out. Again, it’s the right thing to do…
Produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by JJ Abrams, Super 8 tells the story of a group of kids growing up in the rural midwest in 1979 who love to make movies on their Super 8 camera. But when a train derails at the edge of their town, unleashing something seemingly otherworldly that begins to tear things apart, the kids find themselves in the middle of an adventure not of their own making.
