LIVING AFTER MIDNIGHT: Transformers 3 Midnight Screening Review!

Transformers Dark of the Moon With expectations low after the last Transformers film that even Michael Bay apologized for, Transformers: Dark of the Moon hit theaters this week and our man Luis Calderon was there Tuesday night for the midnight screening to catch the film in 2D (but his theater had beach balls (?)). While this film was shot in 3D and supposedly takes the work that James Cameron did to the next level, 3D isn’t really Luis’s thing. Besides, we all go to see Transformers for the story, right? … Right?

Anyway, I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m not expecting much. I do expect giant robots to be smacking the crap out of each other in a way that doesn’t hurt my eyes and ears and brain. And I would like a coherent story. I know I’m asking a lot, but it could happen. The concept in the trailers is really cool. The reason for the space race was because they found a Transformer on the moon. That. Is. Cool! (however, the potential to screw it up is great)

But I’m personally going to hold off on watching all of Luis’s review, however, until I’ve seen the movie because it’s chock full of spoilers! I’m a geek. Even if I don’t expect much, I’m required to see stuff like this. It’s a compulsion!

If you’re not so sensitive to such spoilery things, I suggest you give it a watch right now…
