Transformers Japanese Collection - Headmasters If you’re any kind of über Transformers fan, no DVD collection is complete without the Headmasters Japanese Collection. I’m sure fans have subsisted just fine with bootlegs over the years, but there is no reason to go that route anymore thanks to Shout! Factory‘s newly set available today. The set includes the first part of the epic trilogy with 35 episodes on 4 DVDs with English subtitles. It also has an art gallery, but that’s about it when it comes to extras in this set, which is really disappointing.

Other than that, his rarely seen collection is a must have for any Transformers fan and is probably more satisfying in one sitting than watching any of the Michael Bay movies. Sad but true.
