They really don’t make giant flying turtle monster movies like they used to. But if they did, you can be sure that the Mystery Science Theater 3000 crew would have spoofed it and Shout! Gamera: Vol. XXI [Deluxe Edition Tin] DVD set is a must-have addition to any Gamera or MST3K fan’s collection. Each of Gamera‘s 5 appearances are collected in this set and are subjected to the relentless skewering of Joel Robinson, Tom Servo, and Crow T Robot as they try to pass the time exiled on the Satellite of Love. This DVD set also includes a set of mini-posters, the original trailers and a host of other extras, including a look back at the long-lasting relations between a flying turtle and the man (and robots) who loved him.
To get an idea of the geek I am, look at my chest. Nearly all of my t-shirts feature something from Star Wars, Lost, Venture Bros, Firefly, Back to the Future, or Marvel heroes. And, yes, they often have the San Diego Comic-Con logo on the sleeve.
