Venture Bros Returns August 28th with Shallow Gravy!

You know those rare and special moments in your life that you wish would happen more often? Winning the lottery. Seeing movies starring Simon Pegg (preferably with Nick Frost). Having that special someone in your life offer to do more naked things with you. And, of course, witnessing an all new Venture Bros episode.

Well, one of those wishes are about to come true. At least for one night.

Adult Swim presents From the Ladle to the Grave: the Story of Shallow Gravy Sunday, August 28th, at midnight as part of a 3 hour Venture Bros marathon starting at 9:30 (eastern and pacific)! This 15 minute documentary-style animated special may not be the start of a glorious new season of easily the best animated show (rarely) on television, but it’s kind of maybe hopefully a tease of much more to come (soon).

The rest of that stuff really depends on you (and Simon and Nick) getting your act together. You have to play to win and, seriously, maybe it’s about time you took up some light aerobics and started eating a little better. Just sayin’… It can’t hurt.
